There's a Pig in My Classroom

Hosted by the Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center and sponsored by the LEAP Foundation, There’s a Pig in My Classroom is a NEW virtual program designed to teach students in grades 3-6 where and how pork gets to their plate.

Students will learn about how pigs are raised on the farm, production terminology, and purchasing pork in the grocery store.

We have the ability to accommodate your classes this fall or spring whether you are meeting in person, virtually or as a hybrid model.

Participation and lesson plans are free!

Testimonials

“The feedback from both the teachers and the students was excellent. I had done a dairy virtual field trip through something else offered and this was superior to that. The materials were well developed and the presentation was excellent.”
